What happens

Three steps. One measured week.

  1. 01

    We drop off sealed drums

The 55-gallon drums sit outside near your dumpster or another approved spot. Your team does not wash or maintain them.

  2. 02

Your team fills them for one week

Tie the food-waste bag and drop it into the sealed drum instead of the dumpster. The normal kitchen can and bagging motion stay the same.

  3. 03

We weigh it and send the report

You get actual poundage, a recommended weekly drum count, and a practical view of what ongoing diversion could look like.

The report

Useful even when the answer is “not yet.”

The audit exists to replace assumptions with measurements. If the location is too small, outside the route, or not operationally ready, you still leave with the numbers.

Audit FAQ

What operators ask before booking.

How long does the free waste audit take?

One full week. We drop off gasket-sealed drums near your dumpster, pick them up a week later, weigh the contents, and give you a one-page report with measured poundage, likely weekly drum count, and diversion potential.

Is there any obligation?

No. The audit is free, the report is yours to keep, and there is no contract. If the numbers and route fit make sense, the next step is a 1-week free trial of the full pickup service. Ongoing service after the trial is $10 per barrel.

What does my kitchen need to change?

Very little. Your team keeps using a lined food-waste can, ties the bag, and drops it into our sealed exterior drum instead of the dumpster. Keep the bag food-waste only, separated from packaging, cardboard, and general trash. We handle drum delivery, pickup, weighing, and the report.

What businesses are a good fit?

Grocers, offices, cafeterias, coffee shops, food producers, and other commercial locations with recurring, source-separated food waste in Harris County or Fort Bend County. Material must arrive clean; loads mixed with packaging or trash do not qualify.

What can go into the audit drums?

Food scraps including fruit, vegetables, meat, bones, dairy, plate scrapings, coffee grounds, eggshells, and small amounts of pan grease. Keep paper, plastic, compostable bioplastics, and fryer oil out.
